Dr. Henry Morgentaler was one of seventy-five Canadians given the Order of Canada in 2008 in recognition of his work advancing women’s rights. His induction caused widespread controversy, as it was condemned by both anti-abortion Members of Parliament and anti-abortion activist groups. |
