The Health Canada Annual Report showed that the Trudeau Liberal government reinstated the $140,612 deduction from NB’s Canada Health Act transfer. The federal government held back an additional $64,850 in March for the amount that New Brunswickers paid out of pocket for abortion services based on figures provided by Clinic 554 for the 2018-2029 fiscal year.
