The anti-abortion organization New Brunswick Right to Life Association (NBRTLA) organized a rally in front of the Legislature in Fredericton on Easter Sunday. 2000 people were invited to the protest, which followed other rallies in Chatham, Hartland, Grand Manaan, and Moncton, and a letter-writing campaign targeting MPS and MLAs. The rally was to show their support of stricter abortion laws, protest the Supreme Court ruling, and to demand they be consulted in the drafting of any new legislation. |
